Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to accessibility

We want everyone who visits our online store to be able to browse, shop, and get in touch with us, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is something we treat as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-off project, and we keep working to identify and remove barriers as we find them.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility and explain how to make web content more usable for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological conditions. Conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA is an ongoing goal: as our store evolves, we continue to review and improve it so that it stays in line with these guidelines.

Measures we take

To support accessibility, we apply the following measures across our store:

  • Meaningful alternative text for images, so that the purpose of visual content can be understood by screen readers and other assistive technologies.
  • Sufficient colour contrast and scalable text, to make pages easier to read for customers with low vision or visual impairments.
  • Keyboard operability, so that the store can be navigated without relying on a mouse or other pointing device.
  • Clear structure and plain language, using headings, lists, and straightforward wording to make content easier to follow and understand.

These measures are reviewed and refined as part of our ongoing work to improve accessibility across the store.

Reporting accessibility issues

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our store. If you encounter any barriers while browsing or shopping with us, or if you need any content provided in an alternative accessible format, please get in touch and let us know:

Please try to include as much detail as possible, such as the page you were visiting and the nature of the difficulty you encountered, so that we can look into it effectively. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to address reported issues as promptly as we can.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is not a one-time fix, and we recognise that there may still be parts of our store that are not yet fully accessible. We are committed to continually reviewing our website, addressing issues as they are identified, and improving the experience for all our customers over time.
